Quests

What are Quests?

Quests are objectives given out that gives rewards, either in game resources or magical items called artefacts.  Some quests are considered 'open' which means anyone can complete them.  Some are for specific characters or warbands or members of a certain guild.  To complete these quests you must fit this availability disqualifier.  

Quests have a rating, either minor, moderate or major, which is an indicator to how hard the quest is and how big the rewards will be.  Virtual Game resource rewards require a player to be in a warband or to donate them to a warband, but artefacts and coins can be earnt by anyone.  A 'dangerous' quest is one that has a penalty for failure.  These should not be undertaken lightly.

Lastly, the quest will list it's objective (what you must do to complete it) and what type of quest it is.  A 'game objective' quest is something done physically or in person at a Swordcraft Gippsland game or event.  A 'virtual objective' quest is something done in the Virtual Game, either as part of your warband's moves or in the Roleplay page, where players can act out scenes and things they cannot perform in person.  A 'major battle' or 'minor battle' involves an actual battle, either a full game day or a bonus round, to complete the quest.

You can use the tags search on the left to search for quests using tags such as Active for currently active quests or Warband Only for specific quests for a certain warband.
